Cosmillion is a daily rare-answer word game built around seven prompts and a short timer. Each question gives you 25 seconds to enter an answer; rarer accepted answers score better. This independent guide was checked on November 4, 2026. It links to the official game instead of embedding it because public iframe permission has not been confirmed.

What is Cosmillion?

Cosmillion asks you to find answers that fit a category while also being less obvious than the answers most people choose. A correct answer can earn more when it is rare in the game's answer pool, which makes the goal different from simply naming the first valid example.

The reviewed official game presents seven questions in a daily round. Each question has a 25-second timer. The current interface and its answer acceptance rules belong to Cosmillion's publisher and can change, so use the original game as the final authority for a particular round.

Cosmillion and Krillion share the idea of searching for a rare answer under time pressure. They are separate games with separate prompts, scoring and answer pools. Do not treat a Krillion archive answer as a Cosmillion answer.

How to play Cosmillion step by step

  1. Open the official Cosmillion game from the button above and read the prompt before typing.
  2. Use the 25-second window to choose an answer that clearly fits the category. A strange answer is useful only when it is accepted by the game.
  3. Submit before the timer expires. Check spelling and singular/plural form when the prompt makes that distinction relevant.
  4. Review the result after each question. The game shows how your answer performed against its current scoring bands.
  5. Continue through all seven prompts, then use the official result and share controls if you want to compare the round with someone else.

Because the timer is short, decide on a category first and then search your memory for a defensible example. Entering a famous answer immediately may be safe, but it can leave rarity points on the table. Entering an obscure answer that does not fit the category earns nothing.

Ranks and scoring

Cosmillion's official interface groups results into six score bands. The exact labels, thresholds and answer statistics are controlled by the game, so this guide does not recreate a fixed rarity table or claim an algorithm that the publisher has not documented publicly.

Read the result as feedback about both parts of your answer: it must be accepted, and it should be less common than the answers chosen by other players or represented in the game's current pool. A high score is evidence about that round, not a universal ranking of the answer in every context.

If you compare screenshots, keep the date, prompt and displayed score together. The same word can be common in one category and unusual in another.

Rare-answer tips that hold up under a timer

  1. List the obvious answer silently, then ask for a nearby example that still fits the wording. This creates a second candidate without spending the whole timer searching for a clever trick.
  2. Prefer a specific, defensible answer over an obscure word you cannot spell confidently. A rare answer only helps when the game accepts it.
  3. Use category boundaries carefully. If a prompt asks for a country, a city or a brand is not a creative substitute unless the official wording allows it.
  4. Keep your first answer when the timer is nearly over. Last-second edits can replace a valid response with a typo.
  5. After the round, note which prompts rewarded a less obvious answer. Your own history is more useful than a generic list of supposedly guaranteed rare answers.

There is no reliable universal answer list for Cosmillion. Prompts, accepted entries and the distribution behind rarity can change. Treat examples from a previous round as practice ideas rather than promises about today's score.

Daily mode vs. All Access

The official site describes the daily mode as free. Its All Access offering covers additional features such as unlimited play, saving and theme packs through a one-time purchase. Check the current official checkout and feature list before buying; pricing and availability can change.

This page does not unlock Cosmillion Unlimited, reproduce paid prompts or claim that an embedded copy would include All Access features. If you want to play an extra round, use the mode and account controls provided by the official site.

Cosmillion and Krillion: what is similar?

Both games reward answers that are harder to find than the default response, and both make a short daily session feel like a search for a one-in-a-krillion idea. That is where the comparison is most useful.

The formats remain different. Cosmillion uses seven timed questions with its own answer pool and score bands. Krillion's daily dive uses its own categories, answer records and game interface. Play each original game before making a detailed comparison, and label any personal strategy as a suggestion rather than a shared rule.

Where to play Cosmillion

Use the official Cosmillion link above to start a round. We confirmed that the original web page is readable, but we have not confirmed public permission to display it in an iframe and have not bypassed any frame restrictions. Keeping the official link visible also preserves the publisher's own account, payment and sharing flows.

This page is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Cosmillion. If the publisher later supplies an embed address or explicit permission, the play area can be reassessed and tested on desktop and mobile before any change.

Accepted answers earn more when they are rarer in the game's current answer pool. The interface groups outcomes into six score bands, but this guide does not invent fixed thresholds or an unpublished rarity formula.
